I gave this a four star review because it is so much easier than the stock umlaut rack that comes with core life by a cube. However, the one issue I have is the floss when it gets wet it feels in the drainage holes and the water overflows out of the top as opposed to going through the rest of the filtration. in order to prevent this, I have to ensure I leave the floss pads and anything else at a cant so it does not clog the holes.

Perfect fit
This creates a nice area for a 4th chamber. It helps to consolidate media and put water flow through it not around it. Makes filtration more efficient. The included water flor Director helps to put the overflow directly from chamber1 into the intank basket. Of using a skimmer, you will want to suction cup that to the wall rather than use the clip on the chamber/2

Really nice box, works Great, No problems even though it was slightly used. Very sturdy, and frees up a lot of room in my back filtration area. Looking to get the Refugium tower. Best thing I have used for my Biocube 32-gallon tank.

Best Upgrade for Biocube Ever
I love this basket. It works a lot better than that flimsy thing that came with by Biocube. I also purchased an extra shelf and the fuge basket. It is so much easier to change carbon and the water is so quiet now. Definitely a must have. And my water quality is also improved.

Media basket for BioCube 32
Awesome product and does as advertised. I was able to put 32 oz. of carbon in the second section in a mesh bag. Now the water is forced to go through the carbon and not just around it. One hour later and my water is perfectly clear! And another nice side effect, you can't hear water falling any longer. Dead silent! I would highly recommend this product to anyone on the bubble.

Biocube 32 in tank filter
This product completely changes the functionality of the biocube 32 fish tank. The filter basket that the the tank comes with is horrible. It gets caught and allows what’re to go through without touching the media. I tank changes all of that. It cleared my tank in two days. One side note is in the instructional videos I saw for this from i tank the overflow clip was black. My intank Clip that locks the basket to chamber one and two was neon green. At first I thought nothing of it. But once I realized when I look into the tank you can see the green clip from the front of the tank when viewing the fish because it is green and the entire back wall including the overflow slats are black. They should go back to black for this reason since most fish keepers are going for a seamless look. Overall it is for the investment.

My Bio Cube 32 basket is working very well! I would only add that it would be nice if the Water Director was black instead of green. This way it would blend better with the intake slots instead of showing a green section. Thank you

Biocube 32 media basket
After having the biocube for approximately 7 months, I want to hit myself for not purchasing this product sooner! Very sturdy, and a lot better at holding my media better than the biocube’s filter stand. I’m getting better quality water results with longer times between water changes. I also purchased the refugium basket and both together has been amazing! Why Biocube hasn’t asked inTank to make these and put in every tank is beyond me! Thanks inTank for making such a great product.

What a great product. Keeps everything neat. Water is directed into the top and has to pass all of your media. Wish I knew about this years ago for my biocube 14. Worth every penny.

The basket is high quality and does work perfectly. The only issue I have is the water level. The water funnel does make the water level a little higher in the main tank. Besides that I love the media basket.

3 out of 5. The price is high enough there is no excuse for not including the 2nd moveable shelf.
The plastic part used to direct the water from the intake chamber into the top of the basket
1) interferes with the protein skimmer mount
2) raises the water level to high in the intake chamber interfering with skimmer action. Why not make it attach to the filter box with a suction cup and press up against the filter chamber wall snugly enough to keep water flowing through it or make it an integrated part of the filterbox and put the suction cup on the side of the filter box?
Increasing the height of water level in the intake chamber increases the level in the tank.

This is a "must-have" for anyone with a BioCube. Allows you to use media bags for things like GAC, Purigen, etc... and the flow will work on it. It also has the added benefit of making the tank quieter with no longer hearing the water falling into the larger factory media shelves. In a word: Amazing!

Excellent addition to my 32 gal bio cube tank
This media basket is awesome! This basket in combination with the fuge basket is the PERFECT fit for my 32 Gal. Bio cube. The one that came with the tank served it’s purpose to get me started, but it was a pain to remove. Something would always get caught and I was always afraid something would break, tare or spill in the process. This keeps everything in the right place and makes my life easier while doing maintenance to my tank.

The media basket is a big upgrade to the stock biocube filter. It's easier to remove and easy to change filter pads. I got the extra shelf for more filter area. I also added the fuge basket for my bio media. Highly recommend.

BIOCUBE MEDIA AND FUGE BASKET
I LOVE this product! I’ve had my Biocube 32” for almost a year and every time i chage the media i compained about how flimsy the original basket was. I have a media bag with ceramic cilinders that got stuck every time making changing filtersand media bags a real pain. The InTank media and fuge baskets are made out of clear acrylic, very strong and keeps everything contained. The sliding wall keeps all media bags in place as you take the basket out of the tank-super easy! And if in doubt how to install, they have multiple youtube videos to guide you on every step. In addition, their customer service is outstanding! We all know accidents happen and one of my water director (a piece that directs the water flow into the basket) came chipped. I sent them an email with the photo of the broken piece as they recommend and in less than three days, I had the piece in my doorstep. I highly recommend this product to anyone with a biocube!

Absolutely the best upgrade I have made for my 32 led BioCube!! The flexibility and workmanship of this product makes it almost priceless in my opinion! My mixed reef tank has been extremely successful from the start and I mainly contibute that to the InTank media Basket and refugium combo that I bought and installed first day! I have kept reef tanks before but never have I been able to adjust and get a system set up as perfect as this product has allowed me to do very easily! Hats off to inTank for the best aquarium product I have ever bought!! I want to add also that I did not receive this product at a discount or anything of that nature just here giving a honest review so that another person in the hobby of reef keeping will know what to expect from this product.

This is a really great and simple addition to the Biocube
This is a really great and simple addition to the Biocube that seems to do a great job. I installed it without a protein skimmer so it required no modifications at all to my tank other than just pulling out the old filtration piece.
It does a great job of forcing the water through all of the media that you put into it. I put filter floss on the top, then purigen, then chemi pure blue. That seems to be a good combination that is keeping my water very clear.
The only thing I'd have preferred be different is for some instructions to be included. I know there's a video on the manufacturers website, but it's outdated and not for the Biocube 32. Even a single sheet of directions would have been a great addition.
