Replaced filter sock in Chamber 1 along with addition of Carbon and Marine Pure GEMS

These are an excellent mod for an AIO tank. The filter socks that come with the tank are a bit of a waste as they occupy both outermost compartments. With these media baskets I am able to run Filter Floss, ChemiPure, and Bioballs in those 2 compartments. Leaving me plenty of options for the other spots. They are well made and fit perfectly. Removing the silicon attached ledges can be a little tricky at first but you'll be glad you removed them and added these media baskets to your tank.

Bought 2 of these to replace the filter socks before I even started my tank up and I’m glad I did, leaves the 2 chambers empty before the return pump for other equipment. Easy to Install and fits perfect after removing the filter sock holder lips!

First let me say that I have no affiliation with InTank. I am just a very satisfied customer with their products and customer service. I have this and the 4 shelf version for my Waterbox 30.2 - one on each intake chamber. I cannot emphasize enough how much smoother my flow is running, The shelf also makes organizing filter/bio media a snap. Removing filter floss is also super simple with water changes since they sit right on the top. My first exposure to InTank products was with a shelf for a tiny Fluval Spec III that I set up as a nursery for a pair of baby clownfish. The stock sponge would not cycle the tank no matter how hard I tried. I replaced the sponge with a shelf and some marine pure gems and the tank cycled within days. I was hooked. Now all of my aquariums have InTank shelves and I have not looked back. Do yourself a favor and just get the InTank shelves! You will not regret it.

Great replacement for the stock filter socks. Easy to install and whisper quiet. Bonus place to add filtration media. Great product
