First, I want to let you know the support was outstanding; it took me a moment to install, but once you do, you will be happy. Remove the bottom and top Grate first; these are a rounded slit piece Of the plastic that comes with the tank. I have shrimp, so I put the top one in after I put in the Includes Water Director piece - Installs between the basket and a false wall. I hope this saves some time as I got lucky and spoke to someone to ask questions. I accidentally purchased the Includes Water Director piece - Installs between the basket and false wall not realizing it came with this basket just an FYIIan GibbsAmazing Craftsmanship

Decided to get into the planted aquarium hobby, was struggling to keep my tank under control. decided to upgrade my aquarium with Chamber 1 & 2. Best decision i've made. Chamber 1's Water Director piece works great with filter floss to keep the surface clean, i've seen a dramatic drop in floating debris. Added Chemi Pure GREEN Nano and all my plants are doing much better with the clear water. Added Matrix to Chamber 2 and my water chemistry has leveled off. Well I received this last week in the UK. I thought I would have to wait longer but very happy. The basket itself is well made and sturdy. You could really go to town and pack tons of stuff in it but I have used it as follows - Top is floss, middle is Chem pure blue with De nitrate, bottom is Matrix with a bit more floss. The fin that sits at the bottom of the chamber is a real pain but this basket overcomes that with the appropriate gaps in the shelfves and rear side. The bottom covers the lower vent so flow is from the top downwards. The new water director design is much improved. You have to position your media in such a way that it does not get stuck on the fin in the chamber but its no hassle really and does not bother me. All in all I am very pleased with it as I have plans for the middle chamber so a happy customer. Thanks inTank a great jobJustinGreat priduct - Fast shipping to Hawaii

Arrived well packed. Very impressed with the excellent build quality. All seams were accurately glued and everything lined up correctly. Fits into the Flex chamber easily. Flow works well through the top weir and down through the media basket. Tested flow through the bottom weir if water level is below top weir and still enough flow so pump doesn't run dry. Overall much more efficient filtration with the media basket.Leave a Review
