Great design and great product! I have my Evo 13.5 upgraded about as much as possible. Stronger return pump, circulation pump, protein skimmer, and UV sterilizer to list a few. My only complaint with this basket is the removable rear wall should be a little taller to prevent unfiltered water from running over the back. I tried lowering the water level which did solve the problem, but it forced me to dry skim verses wet skimming. I prefer wet skimming on this tank as the bio load is light. Corals and invertebrates only, I may add some small fish in the future. Easiest fix for this particular set up is to slide the rear wall up to desired level and this prevents the unfiltered water from running over the back. All my filter media is stored in bags anyway so the gap in the bottom really doesn’t matter.Andrew WExactly as Hoped!

Love it, i hated the stock filter being in the 2nd chamber. always got my chaeto dirty and it had trouble growing, now that the filter is in the first chamber the chaeto is growing much better because it's not getting covered in fish muck.AlecWXBest Media Basket

Been right at a month now, and so far no complaints. It seems the company took the two small issues brought up in the forums and fixed them: plugging the hole in the wall, and making the water run over the floss and not around it. Both the plug and the adapter work perfectly, and right now my tank seems to be in good shape. Overall, I'd recommend. It’s awesome!! I have room left over in the middle chamber for more media if I needed it, after having a bag of bio rings in the bottom, a bag of carbon on top of that, purigen and phosbond in the middle and filter floss on top. All of my parameters are trending well and I’ve been able to cut back on the amount of water changes on my little nano reef, which is a HUGE help. I love this basket. Well I received this last week in the UK. I thought I would have to wait longer but very happy. The basket itself is well made and sturdy. You could really go to town and pack tons of stuff in it but I have used it as follows - Top is floss, middle is Chem pure blue with De nitrate, bottom is Matrix with a bit more floss. The fin that sits at the bottom of the chamber is a real pain but this basket overcomes that with the appropriate gaps in the shelfves and rear side. The bottom covers the lower vent so flow is from the top downwards. Not sure if the water director makes any sense but using it anyway. You have to position your media in such a way that it does not get stuck on the fin in the chamber but its no hassle really and does not bother me. All in all I am very pleased with it as I have plans for the middle chamber so a happy customer. Thanks InTank a great jobLeave a Review
