I was trapping detritus with my original socks that came with the CVue 26G. I ordered two. Arrived FAST. Thank you. And also ordered the nice poly mesh that goes with these. Only issue here is the size lacks and allows the flow to bypass the areas around the filter. The trick to correcting this is to applying more mesh around the edges. I inch thick by the width of 2 slices gets this thing sealed properly. Hopefully they can correct the size issue for the next batches but overall I think this will suite my new habitat better.

Filter socks drove the family crazy as to the sound of falling water in the filter sock, this worked wonders with inTank Bonded Poly Filter Floss and I found 200 m material I cut to put under inTank Bonded Poly Filter Floss on one side to polish the water. I do wish this was a little wider but does not move so that is good but too much filter media will just cause a waterfall behine this holder. Now I have space under this holder, I placed a box of Two Quart Box - 1 1/2” Spheres Ceramic Biomedia - MarinePure under this holder
