    AquaClear 20 basket

    I watched the video on how this works in the Aquaclear 20, but still amazed at how much better it filters with this basket. This is my second inTank media basket purchase and the products are well made and nice looking.

    the media basket is well made and really allows you to maximize the space inside the filter with optimal water flow through various media. would definitely purchase again.

    AquaClear 20 Media Basket

    I was apprehensive on purchasing this due to the price but I was having TDS and nitrate issues while using the standard AquaClear basket. I layered the first stage with Poly filter floss pad and Deep Blue nitrate removal pad. I used the AquaClear block sponge for the 2nd stage and finished with a mixture of Seachem nitrate biofilter support media and Seachem de nitrate media. Within 3 days TDS dropped 30 points and nitrates went to zero.
